Thank you very much for putting this on your blog, it was great!
I am a newbie, but I really enjoyed the history of the language, and to see where it all came from. It was also nice to see that others like myself did not come from a computer science background(Mine is Oceanography)who were able to get their web application to talk to databases. I always tell people at school that Coldfusion is the best way to get a database for the web!
