This is the first in a new series of podcasts, CFNews_Radio, where in my spare time I'll be producing a weekly show that summarizes recent news and events regarding ColdFusion including hot threads in the CF Community, interesting projects or topics in the blogosphere, user group events, and articles from Macromedia including those from the Devnet center, Security Zone, and technotes.
Since this is the first of the series, I'll reach back more than a week, but in general these podcasts will try to stay current.
This week's show includes:
- Where to find information on the Adobe proposal to acquire Macromedia
- Hot threads from CFTalk
- COAL
- ACME
- BlogCFM, BlogFusion, BlogCFC
- New houseoffusion.com lists
- Recent Macromedia ColdFusion Devnet articles
- ColdFusion MX Security Bulletins
- ColdFusion MX 7 Cumulative Hotfix 2
- CFUNITED 2005
- Online ColdFusion Meetup Group
To subscribe to the CFNews_Radio you can set your podcast-enabled blog aggregator such as iPodder or Feed Demon to the ColdFusion Podcast RSS 2.0 feed.
To learn more about how to get your blog aggregator to update your iPod with these news feeds, check out What is Podcasting on iPodder.org, or this article, Receive Podcasts Using Your PC.
If you'd just like to listen to CFNews_Radio without subscribing, just click the paperclip icon at the bottom of a podcast blog entry.

Just finished listening, good work! I like the initiative you`ve put into this, and I look forward to a lot more!
Now some constructive criticism, places I can see you getting better at :)
1) It sounds like you read it off of a sheet of paper, drilling straight down, top to bottom. Relax, we`re not in a hurry. Be casual.
2) Rustle some papers like it`s a new news article - lol - "this just in...". It`s like my ears are begging for some noises or something.
3) Could use a little music at the beginning & end. It`s your show, so, any music at all would be great.
4) Maybe some more personal info to get us involved in you and, in turn, your show.
5) I`d like to suggest some interviews, whoever`s nearby or maybe live over breeze. Would make it interesting. A co-anchor might liven it up, too.

I believe that a lot of people do that.

Also, the paperclip image is 16x16 pixels, but the HTML is hardcoding it down to 12x12. Depending on where the image lands on the browser, the paperclip renders as an upsidedown U or a gray blur.

Hit me up, I started a WebDevDesign Podcast (Macromedia/Adobe/Web Development & Design), so I would like to keep dialog open so I don`t overlapp too much since I can mention a topic and plug your Podcast.
Glad more Podcasts like this are coming out. :)
