I spent a few hours working my way closer and closer to the sheep, trying not to disturb them. I tried to be obvious and not sneaky, so I stood up, walked, moved my arms slowly, and spoke in a slow voice. This way they would know from a distance that I was not one of their predators. It seemed to work. Their behavior remained the same as they kept grazing, moving around, and playing.
